Sally Clawson received an MFA in choreography from
Mills College, coming to San Francisco to dance with the Margaret
Jenkins Dance Company. She is a recipient of the Philanthropic
Ventures Foundation Performing Arts Fellowship; and was a finalist
in the Ellen Hansen Memorial Prize competition at UC Davis. She has
performed with Sonya Delwaide, Jon Weaver, Colleen Mulvihill, A
Travelling Jewish Theater and Shotgun Players. Currently, Sally
performs voice over, on-camera and stage acting. She joined Stephen
Pelton Dance Theater in 2002.
Christy Funsch holds an MFA in Performance and
Choreography from Arizona State University and a BA in Dance
and English from Hamilton College, NY. Christy has presented
her own work in New York City, Phoenix, Toronto, Santa Cruz, and
throughout San Francisco. In addition to dancing with
Stephen, Christy is a member of Maxine Moerman Dancetheatre and
has also worked with Sue Roginski, Stephanie Schaaf, Mary
Armentrout, Megan Nicely, and Leslie Seiters. She serves on the
Advisory Board of The Field SF, and has twice been nominated for an
Isadora Duncan Dance Award for Performance. She joined Stephen
Pelton Dance Theater in 2002.

Nol Simonse grew up in and around Washington DC.
He began dancing at age 9 with Alison Miller. He continued his
training at the Boston Conservatory of Music. Since moving to
San Francisco he has had the pleasure of dancing with Janice Garrett
and Dancers, kunst-stoff, Sue Roginski, Eric Kupers and
Dandelion Dance Theatre and Della Davidson's Sideshow Physical
Theatre. He joined Stephen Pelton Dance Theater in 2002.

Brian Thorstenson (playwright-in-residence). Brian's plays include: Wakefield; or, Hello Sophia and Shadow Crossing (Central Works Theater Ensemble), Drop (Alternative Theater Ensemble), Tuesday (Stephen Pelton Dance Theater), Heading South (The Studio at Theater Rhinoceros, The 450 Geary Theater), Summerland (Alternative Theater Ensemble, 2000 Bay Area Playwrights Festival, Wings Theatre Co., NYC) and Over The Mountain (2003 Bay Area Playwrights Festival, 2007 Global Age Project, opening 2009 at Brava Center for Women in the Arts). Brian is an associate artist at The Z Space Studio, a member of the Dramatists Guild, and a 2008 Resident Playwright at the Playwrights Foundation. He currently teaches at San Francisco State University and Santa Clara University. Brian received a B.A. in Theater from Willamette University, and an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from San Francisco State University. He lives in San Francisco.
